I found that I can do my hw so easy! I take files that are Microsoft like worksheets and copy them to the app, and can write directly on my page like a piece of paper with my pencil. I highlight notes and insert graphs, pictures and files, and is so easy to organize all of my work and class work. Highly would recommend to anyone that is studious or wants to organize on the go with less clutter.

App is great for taking handwritten notes on my iPad mini, but best feature is integrated OCR capability which allows me to export notes as a PDF and view them as they were written plus search the text. Only drawback is an interface which requires too many steps for basic things like exporting to another app.

Im a satisfied new user of good notes for past 2 months on ipad pro. If anything can replace the simplicity of pen and paper its goodnotes on ipad pro with pencil. I am just gonna make some feature requests: 1. Please give a landscape mode on ipadpro an option of 2page view while reviewing notes, as it assists in spatial memorization of notes. 2. Please make the top bar transparent (optional) so that the whole screen may be used for viwing/annotating the page. Or give us "lock page to width".

This is the perfect app if you want to leave your paper notebook behind, and have all your handwritten notes stored digitally. The zoom function for handwriting works great. OCR isnt too bad either. It takes a bit to just get used to writing - but thats a me thing and not the app. iCloud sync is a lifesaver Paired with a new Adonit Jot Pro, GoodNotes will help me with retiring all my paper based notebooks

Perfect combo with iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Getting organized is a reasonable goal with this combination.

Better featured than Notability, and generally better implemented. No interface cruft like in OneNote or Evernote. Importing and exporting PDFs is really simple, and I love being able to do so on the flow of my notebooks. The sectional screenshot feature was a great idea, as well. The only improvements I would ask for are options to move the toolbar to the sides, and for this larger toolbar to include several pencil presets for fast swapping of colors / widths.

Bought this app, to use in trial with iPad pro. And Ipencil, worked great. But I would really like to see the ability to have two documents side my side. One pdf to look at and a document to take notes on. Then I can hands down give 5 stars .

If You are looking for something to replace your handwritten notes this is the best app for you with an Apple Pencil. The interface is not in your face and sucking up valuable real estate and you can lasso and move text quickly without waiting forever while it selects everything. Great inking experience. Enough customization without overdoing it. Well worth the money. Keep improving it folks and I will keep coming back!

Awesome APP. Very easy to use.

It is a usefull toll that allow me replace my handwriten notebook in my daily notes and my meetings notes. I use it continuesly during my work day.
