It was the handwriting recognition that enables full text search that initially sold me - but its the zoom + automatic continuous writing feature that makes this app just a pure joy to use on my 9.7" iPad Pro with Apple Pencil! ❤

Seriously, this apps is just incredible! Im not usually very fast at learning new software, but this one is very easy and intuitive. As a Professor, it makes my life so much easier, especially since I use the Apple Pencil. Great value for the price.

I went on a rampage and bought Goodnotes, NotesPlus, Noteshelf, Notability, and UPAD - just to see what theyre all like! Goodnotes was the best - fastest responding, and easiest to use. Also, Goodnotes draws by vectors, as do Notability and NotesPlus, and it does so more fluidly than the others. Noteshelf has a great UI but draws using raster mode so it wont scale up nicely, and if you draw over a picture in Noteshelf and then try to erase, the pic gets erased too - not just your edits! Goodnotes allows you to draw lines, then use the highlighter tool to color what youve drawn. But the app puts the highlighting behind the lines so your drawings always look great. This app is very well thought out. Highly recommended for taking notes or sketching or both at once!

Thanks for making such a good app! Writing works perfect! Just one feature request. I hope that good notes can sync with google drive automatically. I.e. The modified files on drive can be saved there automatically.

It almost has all the features and functionalities I need, no complains about that. However, it would be much better if it will include a colour spectrum so that I can choose whatever colour I want

Terrible, - good notes 3 to 4 file transferring is not working the zip file would be damaged - there is practically no new templates the old ones are there - the directory in directory system is terrible too, they cant do a simple thing -there is no new things to pay for in goodnotes 4 as they say dont buy this one just go with the old 3

Get this app app immediately. Best for note taking in courses and research notes. Need active stylus support

The best app for note taking and PDFs.

I have been using the app since ipad 1. I installed the paid earlier version. But now, I have to pay again to get the newer version. For the paid customers, upgrade to newer version should have been free.

Very useful features

Its a very good note taking app. I am using it for professional purposes, but its also ideal for students. Its also my favourite pdf reader program with its note taking abilities on the page. The reason for 4 star instead of 5 is unavailability of Turkish support for convertion section. Convertion of my notes in Turkish into text format would be very useful and time saving.

The quality of the pen written notes are not as good as noteshelf. This app has really good features but quality of pen is not good.

The app is the best in its class but it lacking password protection hinders its usefulness. Please add this feature!
